Dynamic Balancing

Our extremely well equipped workshop and highly trained operatives give us the facility to accurately balance, horizontally and vertically.

Technology is important to Centri-Force Engineering which is why we have the first Entek IRD Hard Bearing Digital Vertical Balancing Machine brought into the UK specifically to balance Separator Bowls and other machine component items.

This allows the company to balance vertically two plane rotating assemblies up to 1500 kg dead weight encompassing recognised ISO standards.

The great advantage of the Entek IRD machine is that it can balance not only solid bowls but disc stack type bowls from many different manufacturers e.g. Alfa-Laval, Westfalia Separator, Dorr Oliver, Mitsubishi, Seital, Reda etc., thus minimising costly downtime and replacement bowl hire charges necessary when sending bowls to mainland Europe.

This supplements our existing horizontal balancing equipment enabling Centri-Force to offer a full and complete service for the balancing of components and rotating assemblies.

At Centri-Force, new technology and traditional skills go hand in hand. Our trained workforce of skilled engineers are qualified to deal with every aspect of the maintenance and repair of all centrifugal separation equipment regardless of Original Manufacturer.

A printout of each balancing procedure is supplied with 'A Certificate of Balance' thus giving added comfort to the customer that he has a properly balanced rotating assembly. All work carries a six month guarantee.

The addition of this balancing machine to our company's already established balancing facilities a number of years ago has allowed us total flexibility in this very specialised section of centrifuge maintenance and we have become well known in the industries we service as being highly skilled in this field.
